Bob Tidmarsh

Born in Birmingham but lived most of his life in West Bromwich. A retired Engineering Manager he did not start writing poetry until after he retired in 2001.

 
He was inspired to write his first poem by the filthy state of Sandwell Streets at the time. His first poem Dirty Sandwell was published in the local press and since then has been included in several other publications.

He likes to that his work has had some affect on the cleanliness of Sandwell because now it is a much cleaner place. He has gone on use the medium of poetry to express himself on many subjects. He now runs a web log(blog) under the pen name Bob the Black Country Brummie which can be accessed at www.midtids@blogspot.com
