| On the way out of Brendan Hawthorne’s book launch for “Slide” in December 2007, I was ambushed and bitten by the Muse. I haven’t stopped writing since. It seems to be a new symptom of a rather old mid-life crisis. Poetry Wednesbury is excellent. It gives anyone an opportunity to air their writing in front of a small but sympathetic audience. This is really helpful, especially if you’re new to the game.
